To Be or Not to Be “American”

When one can walk down the streets of any major US city and see illegal invaders marching under a Mexican flag with signs written in Spanish that attack, insult and incite sovereign American citizens who simply want secure organized legal immigration for their country, people with no right to be here at all demanding their alleged “American” right not only to remain here, but to redesign America too, one must ask what kind of American they intend to be?

But the problem doesn’t begin here. This is just a visible symptom of a much bigger problem in 21st Century America.

When Muslims are allowed to march down Broadway in the heart of New York City in celebration of 9/11, honoring the terrorists who carried out the most brutal attacks on innocent civilians anywhere in the world, we must ask what kind of Americans these people are? We have a right and a responsibility to ask…

But even this is not the root of the problem. It’s just another example of just how serious the problem has become in our country.

It seems that while many in the world desire a financially beneficial American residence, not nearly as many desire the responsibilities inherent with those benefits. But the problem does not begin with immigrants really, it begins right here at home.

To be American is not just to live in America, or even to just be born in America. Like all nations, America has given birth to many un-American or anti-American citizens, some of whom have been tried, convicted, jailed or put to death for acts against American interests. Not every individual born or residing in America is an American and that is where the problem begins.

To Be American...
To avoid being accused of single handedly defining what it is to be “American,” I won’t define the term at all. Instead, I’ll simply rely upon our founding documents to define what it is to be “American.” If you don’t like the definition found in our founding documents, take it up with our founders who are responsible for defining America and what it means to be “American”.

Americans believe in a Creator, our Declaration of Independence says so.
Americans believe in certain unalienable rights and atop that list is Life, Liberty and the Freedom to pursue individual Happiness, also found in our nations Declaration as a free sovereign nation.
Americans believe that our rights are not afforded by elected Representatives, but rather endowed by our Creator.
Americans believe that all men are indeed Created equal, with the freedom to use their individual talents to become unequal by way of personal achievement, in pursuit of individual happiness.
Americans believe in a Representative Republic form of self-governance, strictly defined in and limited by our written, not imaginary, Constitution.
Americans believe in the individual right to earn and own, not take, redistribute and waste.
Americans believe in being generous with their own resources, not other people’s resources.
Americans believe in the right to bear arms, to speak freely no matter how offensive that speech might be to some, to clean up their government when it strays off course and to hold people accountable for their actions, both private and public.
Americans believe in free enterprise, capitalism, individual economic freedom to earn as much or as little as individually chosen, to be rich or poor, or anything they desire through honest efforts.
Americans believe in themselves, not government.
Americans believe that a nation of personal achievement leads to real progress and that penalizing personal achievement through progressive taxation of the productive in the name of a greater common good, leads to eventual collapse of the most progressive society on earth.
Americans believe in national sovereignty, which requires national security, including at our borders.
Americans believe in the spread of freedom and liberty around the globe as a means of reducing threats against our own freedom and liberty at home.
Americans believe in the rule of “American” laws, passed by the “American” legislative branch elected of, by and for the people of America, not international laws passed and administered by anti-American regimes around the world.
Americans believe that all of these principles serve the greatest common good of all Americans and that protecting and preserving America means protecting and preserving these principles.

Therefore, to be American is to believe in, to protect and defend these principles which made America the most prosperous, most generous and most powerful example of freedom on earth. To believe in these things, to work in support of these things, to put these ideas before self, is to be American.

Not to be American...
Though offensive to many modern Americans who have bought into the Karl Marx concepts of progress, not to be American is just as easy to define. In short, to act against fundamental American principles is to act against America. One can not act against America and still be an American. It’s just that simple…

Though many seek to negotiate the definition of American, to make excuses for their anti-American ideas and actions, to cover their anti-American agendas in patriotic sounding buzz words like “progressive,” “socially conscious,” “liberal” or “tolerance,” the foundations of their movement remains wholly un-American, fully at odds with fundamental American principles and therefore, completely in opposition to America. That’s not “American”.

To Be or Not to Be...
To be American is to believe in, practice, support, protect and defend American principles. There is no other way to be “American”. This means that to oppose these principles, in whole or in part, is to be something less than an American, something which is in fact, a threat to America.

Whether born in America or immigrating to America, each individual must choose to support or oppose American principles. If the principles of your heritage, your homeland, are more important than American principles, then stay in your homeland where those principles are welcome. America has it’s own principles and values and you will be expected to adopt them, one and all, upon asking to become an “American”.

Contrary to modern popular excuses, there is no middle ground!
Being anti-capitalism is the same as being pro-socialism, as these are the opposing economic ideas.
Being pro-abortion is the same as being anti-innocent life.
Being pro-government is the same as being anti-individual liberty and freedom.

America was formed and built upon certain specific principles and values and those ideas have served America better than any set of ideas have ever served any people in recorded history. Left intact, they will serve America and the world for as long as Americans remember, respect and protect those principles.

However, the erosion of those principles and values means the erosion of America and a free sovereign nation of independent individuals able to pursue happiness free from government intrusions or legislated limitations. America is falling because the principles and values are falling. Those who seek a middle ground between right and wrong, good and evil, American and anti-American, are just as responsible for the fall of America as those who openly work in direct opposition to America. They just lack the intestinal fortitude to admit what they are…un-American.

Only those who support American principles and values are truly American!

The Truth of Interracial Rape in the United States

Like Ahab's search for the Great White Whale, liberals' search for the Great White Defendant is relentless and never-ending.

When, in 1988, Tawana Brawley's and Al Sharpton's then year-old spectacular charge that several white men including prosecutor Steven Pagones (whose name Brawley had picked out of a newspaper article) had abducted and raped the 15 year old was shown to be completely false, the Nation said it didn't matter, since the charges expressed the essential nature of white men's treatment of black women in this country.

When the Duke University lacrosse players were accused of raping a black stripper last year, liberals everywhere treated the accusation as fact, because, just as with the Nation and Tawana Brawley, the rape charge seemed to the minds of liberals to reflect the true nature of oppressive racial and sexual relations in America.

To see the real truth of the matter, let us take a look at the Department of Justice document Criminal Victimization in the United States, 2005. (Go to the linked document, and under "Victims and Offenders" download the file for 2005.)

In Table 42, entitled "Personal crimes of violence, 2005, percent distribution of single-offender victimizations, based on race of victims, by type of crime and perceived race of offender," we learn that there were 111,590 white victims and 36,620 black victims of rape or sexual assault in 2005. (The number of rapes is not distinguished from those of sexual assaults; it is maddening that sexual assault, an ill-defined category that covers various types of criminal acts ranging from penetration to inappropriate touching, is conflated with the more specific crime of rape.)

In the 111,590 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was white, 44.5 percent of the offenders were white, and 33.6 percent of the offenders were black.

In the 36,620 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was black, 100 percent of the offenders were black, and 0.0 percent of the offenders were white. The table explains that 0.0 percent means that there were under 10 incidents nationally.

The table does not give statistics for Hispanic victims and offenders. But the bottom line on interracial white/black and black/white rape is clear:

"In the United States in 2005, 37,460 white females were sexually assaulted or raped by a black man, while between zero and ten black females were sexually assaulted or raped by a white man.

What this means is that every day in the United States, over one hundred white women are raped or sexually assaulted by a black man."

The Department of Justice statistics refer, of course, to verified reports. According to the Wikipedia article on rape, as many as half of all rape charges nationally are determined by police and prosecutors to be false:

Linda Fairstein, former head of the New York County District Attorney's Sex Crimes Unit, noted, "There are about 4,000 reports of rape each year in Manhattan. Of these, about half simply did not happen.... It's my job to bring justice to the man who has been falsely accused by a woman who has a grudge against him, just as it's my job to prosecute the real thing."

No wonder there was such absolute belief in the guilt of the Duke students among the leading sectors of liberal America. A drug-addled, half-deranged, promiscuous black stripper accused three young white men of raping her.

There are virtually zero rapes of black women by white men in the United States, and half of all rape charges against specific individuals turn out to be false. But in the agnostic, inverted world of liberal demonology, the white students had to be guilty.

Meanwhile, in the real America, week after week, the newspapers report the rapes of white women by black men—though, of course, without ever once using the words, "a white woman was raped by black man."

Just last week in the New York Post there was a story about a serial black rapist who invaded women's apartments on Manhattan's Upper West Side; you knew the rapist was black from a police drawing accompanying the story, and you knew the victims were most likely white from the neighborhoods where the attacks occurred. But even when news media's reports of black on white rape make the race of the perpetrator evident (which the media only does in a minority of instances), no explicit reference is ever made to the racial aspect of the case. Each story of black on white rape is reported in isolation, not presented as part of a larger pattern. There is never the slightest mention of the fact that white women in this country are being targeted by black rapists.

In the inverted world of liberalism, the phenomenon does not exist.
